As one of the most recognizable entertainment brands in the world, Tetris set out to celebrate three decades of cultural impact while defining a vision for the future.
Serving as Creative Director for the project, I partnered closely with the Tetris leadership team as well as Ten Stories Inc to develop the campaign’s creative strategy, visual identity, and storytelling framework—crafting a brand experience that honored its legacy while positioning Tetris for the next generation of players.
The creative challenge was to unify decades of archival footage under a single visual language while reinforcing Tetris’ identity as one of the world’s most iconic global brands.
I developed the concept of a custom dot-matrix world map, with each country constructed from color-coded Tetrimino-inspired forms. This graphic system became the visual thread that connected the historical content, transforming disparate moments into a cohesive narrative while celebrating the universal reach and enduring legacy of the Tetris brand.
Editing became one of the project’s most critical storytelling tools. Working with more than 200 archival clips spanning multiple decades, I developed the editorial framework that connected disparate moments into a unified narrative.
Every cut was intentional, balancing nostalgia, energy, and emotional pacing to create a film that felt seamless, purposeful, future facing and worthy of one of the world’s most iconic brands.
